For All Questions
What determines price?
My prices are determined based on the amount of time and effort I put into each piece; I often divide the full price by the expected hours I plan to spend on a work!
Are there other payment methods?
Of course! A few options are shown in the commission checkout form. Any arrangements needed will be made, including creating a payment schedule or calculating a down payment.
What about refunds?
Have a look at the termination section of my contract for more detailed information! In short, if a refund is requested after a piece is finished, I can't refund. If a refund is requested partially through the process, you have an 80% refund guaranteed! If necessary, an alternative can be discussed on a case by case basis.
How long does an order take?
Timelines can vary quite a lot based on my school and work situation, as well as the type of commission ordered. I will let you know if I'm experiencing any delays, and do my best to send frequent updates to keep things moving!
Any off-limits subject matter?
I will let you know! This depends on the client and the commission instructions.
Are revisions accepted?
Always! Revisions are a natural part of the commission process and are encouraged in order to bring an artwork to its full potential. However, I do have a policy after the work is considered done, detailed in my contract.
Commission Instructions Guide
Please include…
References! Having material to work with allows me to better realize your vision for the art you’ve ordered. Photos, drawings, Pinterest boards, scripts, and descriptions are always helpful. If you’re commissioning art of a character, person, or creature you know, tell me a bit about them! Knowing my subject matter helps me depict them more accurately and bring more life to their expressions. Getting excited over characters and stories with others is one of my favorite things!
Direct and clear descriptions! These are very helpful when it comes to interpreting your order instructions. Please remember to include things such as the emotion or atmosphere you want conveyed in the subject matter, the methods in which the subject matter is interacting with their environment, and the purpose behind the art (even if it’s just for fun!). However, don’t let that deter you from leaving some things up to my imagination, if you wish to!
